FAQs

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

YES, YES & YES! Maid Spot holds an active business license through the county of Duval (required in the state of Florida). A bond is like an insurance policy for the consumer, business that are both bonded and insured will hold full financial responsibility. Maid Spot holds a $1M bond on all active employees. Maid Spot also holds a $1M General Liability policy through a local A+ insurance carrier.

Where do you find your employees?

Maid Spot hires locally within our community. We pride ourselves in paying above-industry wages to employees; this in turn provides a higher quality clean in your home.

Do all of your employees clean the same way?

Yes! Consistency is the name of the game!

All employees must complete our proven Maid Spot training program before they are released to clean without direct supervision. Their training begins with a 2-hour pre-hire orientation and involves lecture, role play and on-site training with one of our trainers over a course of 2-4 weeks. Not only do they learn how to utilize equipment and supplies safely and effectively in your home but also undergo specific customer service training as well.

Will you send the same cleaner each time?

Our goal is to keep the same cleaner consistently in your home. It is benefical for Maid Spot as well because the more frequent the same cleaner is going to your home the more efficient they will be. With that being said, life happens. You may need to change the date or time of a cleaning or a specific cleaner may be on vacation or out sick which could lead to a different cleaner coming into your home. One of the benefits of hiring a service as opposed to an individual is we are guaranteeing your date/time request as well as consistent services that meet and exceed your expectations. We will always notify you if we are sending someone different and will make sure to follow up with a Quality Control inspection as well to ensure your specific needs are being met.

How do you provide such a deep clean and quality of service each and every clean?

Exceeding your expectations begins when we confirm your initial quote and take special notes on all of those details that are important specifically to you and your household.

Our quality control inspections contribute to ensuring you receive the highest quality of service with each visit. One of our quality control inspectors will be present to review the employees work and provide feedback on your first two scheduled cleanings as well as random checks for future visits.

What are rotations and why don’t you do them?

Rotations are quite popular amongst many cleaning companies and maid services. A rotation is where your service provider will set your cleanings to only focus on one main part of your residence at a time. Example: Baseboards this cleaning, Blinds next cleaning

One of the best features of paying for a housecleaning service is coming home and it has all been done at once. At Maid Spot we pay special attention to things like blinds & baseboards on each and every visit.
